Definitely a distinctive voice. At times she sounds bit like Shirley Bassey but also like this singer Res who had an album out a few years ago (Derek, for some reason I think you own a copy of her disc but I may be wrong). Not sure that I like most of the songs on the Beast album at emusic. Then again, I'm not sure that I dislike them either. The production seems overly elaborate but I get that that's the point so not really a valid complaint. It's an interesting sound and I may have to download just to see if it catches on with me.
