Thought I'd end the week with what is probably the most ridiculous passage from a music review I've come across in a long time. This comes courtesy of the prats at Pitchfork.com who opine, "where Interpol were once synonymous with emotive desolation, they here opt for an atmosphere of poignant resignation." Don't you just hate when bands do that?

Perhaps we should come up with the 'most ridiculous review I've read this week' item for the blog. Anyone think they can top this?
